With her husky and idiosyncratic lead vocal, Ben Grove, Hedi Pinkerfeld and Michael Gregory’s tight rhythm section and Graeme Taylor’s soaring, ecstatic guitar, the Loose Screw sound is smooth, rhythmic, full of harmony and speaks straight to the heart.

Never staying still long enough to be pigeon-holed, Denise has worked as classical actress and singer to become a household name from her work in UK TV (Coronation Street, Queer As Folk, Bad Girls). Now in a characteristically maverick move, she has joined ranks with folk-rock guitarist Graeme Taylor (Gryphon, Albion Band, The Home Service) to tell stories and sing original songs and eclectic covers drawn from a lifetime’s devotion to folk, pop and rock.
